ATLANTA, GA — June 1, 2026 — ECI Group today marks a significant milestone in the company’s history: the 30th anniversary of Chief Executive Officer Seth Greenberg’s tenure with the firm. Since joining ECI in 1996, Greenberg has guided the Atlanta-based multifamily real estate company through three decades of disciplined growth, strategic transformation, and industry recognition.
Greenberg joined ECI Group following a career in law, where he served as a law clerk for the Honorable John W. Bissell, United States District Court Judge in Newark, New Jersey, and later practiced at Wolff & Samson, LLC. He holds a BA in History from the University of Michigan and a JD from Seton Hall University School of Law.
When Greenberg joined ECI in 1996, the firm — founded in 1969 by Henry Hirsch as Engineered Concepts Incorporated — had cumulatively developed approximately 2,500 multifamily units as a regional residential builder. Over the three decades since, under his leadership, ECI has expanded into a fully vertically integrated multifamily platform, having cumulatively developed more than 10,000 units and acquired more than 9,000 units across the Southeast, Sunbelt, and Texas. ECI has completed more than 80 multifamily transactions in its history. Today, the firm manages a portfolio of more than 7,200 units across 28 communities, with operations spanning development, construction, investment management, and property management — supported by more than 200 associates.
The past 18 months alone have underscored the strength of the platform Greenberg has built. In May 2026, ECI announced the formation of ApexOne-ECI Multifamily Fund VI, a strategic joint venture targeting $500 million in equity capital, with ECI and ApexOne committing more than $100 million as co-general partners. This followed an October 2024 commitment of up to $350 million from Almanac Realty Investors, a business unit of Neuberger Berman, to support ECI’s continued platform expansion. ECI has also invested in technology innovation, including the 2025 deployment of an AI-powered leasing and resident engagement platform across its portfolio — a step that meaningfully improved operating efficiency, lead response times, and resident communication.
ECI’s industry recognition during Greenberg’s tenure has been equally consistent. The company has been named a SatisFacts Resident Satisfaction & epIQ Top 100 Company Award winner for nine consecutive years — a tangible reflection of the resident-first culture Greenberg has built — and was recognized in 2025 and again in 2026 as a Best Place to Work in Multifamily and a Best Place to Work in Multifamily for Women by Multifamily Leadership.
